Andrew W. Allison serves as Post & Schell, P.C.'s General Counsel & Chief Compliance Officer. As General Counsel to the Firm as an entity, as well as on behalf of its directors and officers, Mr. Allison provides legal counsel and representation on the Firm’s corporate and business practices and transactions, corporate compliance with internal and external compliance expectations and mandates, and risk prevention and management.   

As the Firm’s Chief Compliance Officer, Mr. Allison oversees and is responsible for the Firm’s corporate compliance program and initiatives, functioning in an independent and objective capacity, and continually refining, implementing, evaluating, and enforcing the program. In this role, Mr. Allison counsels and trains Firm stakeholders to understand and facilitate compliance with federal, state, county, and municipal statutes and regulations, and the common law that govern the day-to-day corporate conduct of the Firm; applicable ethical obligations and rules of professional conduct; applicable Firm “Best Practices” and business partner policies, procedures and guidelines; the Firm’s Compliance Manual and collateral policies and procedures; and the Firm’s Core Values – Integrity, Quality, Innovation, Collaboration, Accountability, and Empowerment.

Mr. Allison supervises the Firm’s sophisticated and comprehensive insurance portfolio and formal pro bono program and is a key business partner in the hiring, retention, and orientation of Firm attorneys. 

Prior to assuming his current full-time management position, Mr. Allison served as a Principal and Chair of Post & Schell’s Trade Secret and Non-Compete Law Practice Group, and a member of the Department’s Employment & Employee Relations and Labor Law Practice Groups.

Andrew W. Allison serves as Post & Schell, P.C.'s General Counsel & Chief Compliance Officer.
