Bio
Melissa L. Mazur is a Principal in the firm's Professional Liability Department and Medical Malpractice Litigation Practice Group. She counsels and defends hospitals, health systems, medical professionals, and other healthcare providers in matters involving alleged medical malpractice/professional liability claims. Ms. Mazur participates in all stages of litigation, from initial client meetings through trial preparation.
Prior to joining Post & Schell, Ms. Mazur was a partner with a regional civil litigation firm. She also worked briefly as a law clerk for the United States Senate on the Judiciary in Washington, D.C., providing legal support during judicial nomination hearings. She is a member of the Young Lawyers Division of the Montgomery County Bar Association and also serves as an arbitrator for Montgomery County.
Active in her community, Ms. Mazur is the main organizer of an annual charity event to raise money for the Lehigh Valley Senior Services Council, which promotes awareness and provides services to senior citizens, and has volunteered her time for the Montgomery County Child Advocacy Project.
