Bio
Cristina de Arana is an Associate in the firm's Professional Liability Department. She advises hospitals, behavioral health facilities, physicians, nurses, and other providers in alleged malpractice litigation involving catastrophic injuries with high financial exposure.
Prior to joining Post & Schell, Ms. de Arana was an Associate at a law firm in Philadelphia, where she represented clients in removal proceedings and advocated for immigrants at various stages of the legal process, including asylum interviews and naturalization hearings. She interned for multiple organizations, including the Sheller Center for Social Justice, Nationalities Service Center, the ACLU of New Jersey, and Temple Legal Aid Office, and has presented her work to human rights leaders at the World Affairs Council of Philadelphia.
Ms. de Arana earned her J.D. from Temple University Beasley School of Law and holds a B.A. in Political Science and Women and Gender Studies from the University of Delaware.
