Business & Corporate Chair Brian Bisignani Discusses the Cost of Bank Mergers with the Central Penn Business Journal

In a February 6 article for Central Penn Business Journal, Business & Corporate Practice Group Chair Brian W. Bisignani provides a perspective on the cost of bank mergers - and the potential return on the same investment.

The article, "The cost of bank merger," explores, "the expense of some recent and proposed midstate (Pennsylvania) mergers," which the article estimates have reached, "seven figures and will continue to climb as the deals get done."

In discussing these costs, Mr. Bisignani comments:

“At the end of the day, yes, it can be expensive with pre- and post-merger costs...but most of the time, people wouldn't be making these deals if they weren't making money.”
