Post & Schell Announces Promotion of Two Associates to Principal

Philadelphia, PA – October 13, 2025 – Post & Schell, P.C. is pleased to announce the promotion of two distinguished attorneys, Mark D. Cowger and R. Joseph (RJ) Hrubiec, from Associate to Principal, recognizing their exceptional legal expertise, client service, and contributions to the firm.

Mark D. Cowger, based in the firm’s Lancaster, PA office, has been promoted to Principal in the Workers' Compensation Department. Mr. Cowger represents and defends employers and insurance companies in workers' compensation proceedings throughout Pennsylvania. He has been recognized in The Best Lawyers in America® “Ones to Watch” category for Workers' Compensation – Employers in both 2024 and 2025. His dedication to client advocacy and deep understanding of Pennsylvania workers’ compensation law have made him a trusted advisor to clients across the Commonwealth.

R. Joseph (RJ) Hrubiec, based in the firm’s Wilmington, DE office, has been elevated to Principal in the Casualty Litigation Department. With over a decade of litigation experience, Mr. Hrubiec focuses his practice on general liability, personal injury, product and premises liability, construction defect, admiralty, and toxic tort matters. He has successfully tried cases to verdict in Delaware and has appeared as lead counsel in courts across Delaware, Pennsylvania, and Maryland, including appellate and federal courts. His diverse background brings a  comprehensive perspective to his practice.
