Patrice A. Toland Elected as a Fellow of the College of Workers' Compensation Lawyers


Philadelphia, PA - July 14, 2022 - Post & Schell is pleased to announce that Workers' Compensation Principal Patrice A. Toland has been elected as a Fellow of the College of Workers' Compensation Lawyers (CWCL). 

The CWCL is a national, non-profit organization established to honor those attorneys who have distinguished themselves in their practice in the field of workers' compensation. Fellows are nominated for their expertise, ethics, and workers’ compensation practice of twenty years, or longer, representing plaintiffs, defendants, serving as judges, or acting for the benefit of all in education, overseeing agencies, and developing legislation.

"It is an honor to be elected as a Fellow to an organization committed to workers' compensation law," said Ms. Toland. "I look forward to working with my colleagues and peers to continue that commitment and further the objectives of the CWCL."

Ms. Toland dedicates her practice to the defense of employers in workers' compensation cases in Pennsylvania. In addition to litigating claims, she assists her clients in developing best practices to prevent liability and reach favorable resolutions when necessary. Her client base includes large international corporations in the health care, maintenance, retail, and transportation industries.

Ms. Toland is active in her community and workers' compensation bar. In 2021, she was appointed as a Trustee of the Philadelphia Bar Foundation. In 2019, the Philadelphia Bar Association’s Workers’ Compensation Section honored her with the Martha J. Hampton Award. In 2018, The Legal Intelligencer honored her with its Best Law Firm Mentor Award in recognition of her efforts in preparing the next generation of legal talent. In 2022 and several preceding years, Ms.Toland was recognized as a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer by her peers, following statewide voting and review by a special panel. The Best Lawyers in America™ recognized Ms.Toland in its 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022 editions in the Workers' Compensation Law - Employers category and was recognized as a Lawyer of the Year in the same category in the 2021 edition.
