Barbara Rowland Moderates Panel on Pharmacists Acting as Care Providers at the ABA Health Law Section's Washington Health Law Summit on Dec. 7


On December 7, Internal Investigations & White Collar Defense Principal Barbara Rowland moderated the panel discussion, "The Pharmacist Will See You Now," at the American Bar Association (ABA) Health Law Section's 13th Annual Washington Health Law Summit, at the Ritz Carlton in Washington, D.C.

The movement for pharmacist provider status is underway as lobbying efforts for federal legislation escalate and several states enact robust reforms. The panel examined pharmacists acting as essential primary care providers and how the practice may transform the health care industry. In addition to Ms. Rowland, panelists included:
