Matthew S. Corcoran is an Associate in the firm’s Workers’ Compensation Department and represents self-insured employers, insurance carriers, and third-party administrators in workers’ compensation litigation throughout the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
Prior to joining Post & Schell, Mr. Corcoran worked in higher education on Title IX and various civil rights issues, including discrimination, harassment, and retaliation. He previously worked for a regional workers’ compensation defense firm as a law clerk during school and following his graduation from Duquesne.

Mr. Corcoran is a graduate of the Duquesne University School of Law in Pittsburgh, PA, where he participated in the Family Law Clinic and served as a Junior Staff Member (Vol. 60) and an Associate Editor (Vol. 61) on the Duquesne Law Review. He holds his B.S. in Education & Public Policy from Penn State University.
