Bio
Joseph C. Koerwitz is a Principal in the firm's Worker's Compensation Department, focusing his practice on the representation of a variety of employers, including commercial retailers, retail and manufacturing centers, small and large corporate entities, as well as long-term care facilities, and defending their rights and interests throughout the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
Mr. Koerwitz manages all phases of litigation, including drafting petitions, discovery, depositions, trial preparation, and attendance, as well as participation in mediation. Mr. Koerwitz routinely performs comprehensive analyses of a multitude of workers’ compensation issues in an effort to mitigate exposure prior to undertaking extensive litigation, and he has negotiated favorable settlements for clients.
