In the November 10, 2020 article, "Vague Improvement Goals Leads to Viable Discriminating Claims," for The Legal Intelligencer, Sidney R. Steinberg examines a case in the ED Pa. involving an employee's termination and lessons for employers from the case. 

The author notes:

"Vague goals for improvement are often difficult to enforce. While an employer may want an employee to 'just get better' at her job, such a goal leaves room, likely too much room, for interpretation."
