Cindy Haines Presents on Community HealthChoices (CHC) Contracting on PHCA Webinar on Sept. 20

On September 20, 2018, Principal Cynthia A. Haines presented on the Pennsylvania Health Care Association (PHCA) webinar, "Community HealthChoices (CHC) Contracting: A Practical Approach Using Lessons Learned in Phase 1." 

Ms. Haines provided insight and practical advice needed to address and overcome some of the common problems encountered in CHC Contracting. She addressed issues that arise during negotiation, including how claims payment will work; assuring that ancillary providers are in the network; and assuring residents receive the necessary services and support coordination. Ms. Haines also provided insight on the Community HealthChoices Contract Checklist, which assists with the analysis necessary to finalize the best possible version of the Agreement and avoid future disputes.
