Andrea Kirshenbaum Moderates Panel on Impact of COVID-19 Pandemic on Working Mothers on Forum of Executive Women Webinar on Jan. 26
On January 26, 2020, Andrea M. Kirshenbaum moderated a panel discussion on the webinar, "The Impact of the COVID-19 Pandemic on Working Mothers and How to Move Forward," at 5:00 PM ET. The webinar was sponsored by The Forum for Executive Women.
The pandemic has had a profound impact on all employers and employees. This has been particularly true for women with children who have disproportionately borne the responsibility for homeschooling, childcare, and housekeeping, while at the same time trying to meet their professional obligations. The panel explored important survey results from the American Bar Association and Working Mother Magazine to understand the impact of COVID-19 on working mothers and offer best practices for organizations to retain working mothers going forward.
The Forum for Executive Women, founded in 1977, is a membership organization of 500 women of significant influence across the Greater Philadelphia region. The Forum's membership is comprised of individuals holding the senior-most positions in the corporations, not-for-profit organizations, and public sector entities that drive the regional economy and community.
