Andrea Kirshenbaum Appointed by E.D.PA Board of Judges to the District's Civil Rules Advisory Committee

Philadelphia, PA – June 30, 2022 – Post & Schell, P.C. is pleased to announce that Principal and Chair, Employment and Labor Practice Group, Andrea M. Kirshenbaum has been appointed by the Board of Judges of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania to the Court’s Civil Rules Advisory Committee.

The Advisory Committee is comprised of Pennsylvania attorneys and will initially be tasked with reviewing, revising, and updating the Court’s Local Rules. The Committee’s collective feedback and recommendations will be shared with the Court’s Civil Rules Committee for consideration.

Ms. Kirshenbaum is Chair of the Post & Schell’s Employment and Labor Practice Group and its related Practice Groups, Employment and Collective Class Actions, Employment & Employee Relations, Labor, Trade Secret & Non-Compete Law, and Wage and Hour. She is also a member of the firm's Appellate Department. She defends employers nationally in federal and state court litigation involving all major employment statutes, represents them in related government investigations, and counsels them proactively on compliance with these statutes.

Ms. Kirshenbaum serves as the Wage and Hour columnist for The Legal Intelligencer, covering the shifting regulatory and litigation environment surrounding wages and pay practices. From 2014 - 2022 she was recognized as a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer and The Best Lawyers in America© recognized her in its 2020, 2021, and 2022 editions in the category of Employment Law - Management.
