Kristy L. Eiter is a Principal in the firm’s Casualty Litigation Department and the firm's Toxic Tort Liability Litigation Practice Group. She focuses her practice on general civil and toxic tort defense and has extensive experience handling all phases of complex litigation, from inception through resolution. Her clients include product manufacturers and suppliers, contractors, premises owners, and employers.
Throughout her career, Kristy has represented clients in a wide range of litigation matters, including breach of contract, land use, landslides, workers’ compensation, and toxic tort claims. She has significant experience conducting and defending both fact and expert depositions, managing discovery and motion practice, and preparing cases for trial. Kristy has successfully briefed and argued dispositive motions in multiple jurisdictions and plays an active role in settlement negotiations, mediations, and overall case strategy. She also has substantial experience managing large toxic tort portfolios, including claim evaluation, strategic planning, and resolution.
Before joining Post & Schell, Kristy held roles at several regional and national law firms, where she developed a strong multi-state practice representing clients in Pennsylvania and West Virginia.
Kristy earned her J.D. from Duquesne University School of Law and her B.A. from Allegheny College.
