Jennifer N. Capozzola is an Associate in the Firm's Employment & Labor Practice Group and the Employment & Employee Relations, Wage and Hour, and Labor Sub Practice Groups, representing employers in litigation concerning federal and state civil rights statutes, common law claims, and restrictive covenants. Her practice includes defending clients in employment litigation involving claims brought under all major employment statutes, including the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), Title VII, the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
Ms. Capozzola’s experience includes wage and hour/FLSA related collective actions. She has managed litigation in state and federal courts and before state administrative agencies and the EEOC, including drafting pleadings, handling discovery, and drafting and arguing motions.
She also counsels employers regarding employment-related matters, including reductions-in-force, employee terminations and discipline, and internal complaints regarding harassment and discrimination. Ms. Capozzola provides training and education sessions on harassment prevention and diversity training, and drafts employment agreements, personnel policies, and employee handbooks.
Ms. Capozzola began her career with two AmLaw 100 Firms in their Labor & Employment Practices in Philadelphia, Princeton, NJ, and Los Angeles.
