White Collar Principal Peter Hardy Serves on ABA Section of Taxation Panel, "Criminal & Civil Aspects of the Bank Secrecy Act" on April 23

Internal Investigations & White Collar Defense Principal Peter D. Hardy participated in an American Bar Association (ABA) Section of Taxation panel discussion via CLE webinar on Wednesday, April 23. The panel, titled "Criminal & Civil Aspects of the Bank Secrecy Act," reviewed the government’s increased focus on criminal cases stemming from the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), as well as IRS civil examinations and compliance audits of businesses that are required to comply with the BSA and Anti-Money Laundering regulations.
In addition to Mr. Hardy, the panel included Eric L. Green of Green & Sklarz LLC, and was moderated by Michael A. Villa, Jr., Partner with Meadows, Collier, Reed, Cousins, Crouch & Ungerman, LLP.
