White Collar Principal Peter Hardy Serves on ABA Panel on Sentencing in Criminal Tax Cases on Dec. 13

On Friday, December 13, 2013, Internal Investigations & White Collar Defense Principal Peter D. Hardy served as faculty on a panel discussion at the American Bar Association's (ABA) 30th Annual National Institute on Criminal Tax Fraud and Third Annual National Institute on Tax Controversy in Las Vegas.

The panel discussion, titled, "Sentencing and Incarceration Considerations When Representing the Guilty Client," examined issues including the new amendment to the Federal Sentencing Guidelines for tax cases, sentencing in offshore account cases, and potential collateral consequences of a criminal tax case, such as deportation.
