Post & Schell Environmental Principal Michael C. Gross Joins Planning Committee for 2016 PA Brownfields Conference
PHILADELPHIA, PA – March 9, 2016 – Michael C. Gross, a Principal in Post & Schell, P.C.’s Environmental Practice Group, was recently invited to join the Planning Committee for the 2016 PA Brownfields Conference. Mr. Gross was asked to join this year’s Planning Committee due to his experience and knowledge of the brownfields cleanup and redevelopment process in Pennsylvania.
This year’s conference will take place October 26 through 28 at the Lancaster Convention Center, in Lancaster, PA, and is a collaborative presentation by the Engineers’ Society of Western Pennsylvania (ESWP) and the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (PADEP). The event focuses on the technical and economic aspects of brownfields reclamation, development, and the opportunities for community redevelopment. The Planning Committee had its initial meeting at PADEP Central Office in Harrisburg on March 2, 2016.
Mr. Gross focuses his practice on environmental transactional and regulatory matters, including brownfields redevelopment, site remediation, and related environmental due diligence. He also counsels and represents a broad range of clients in environmental and energy-related regulatory compliance and enforcement matters. Most recently, he was appointed by Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf to serve on the Pennsylvania Pipeline Infrastructure Task Force, which delivered its Final Report to the Governor on February 18, 2016.
