Christopher T. Wright is a Principal in the Firm's Energy & Utilities Practice Group. He represents natural gas, electric, and water utility clients in state regulatory proceedings. Mr. Wright also has experience in related appellate court proceedings, including judicial review of regulatory agency decisions.

Mr. Wright is especially well-versed in electric transmission line siting, and has been lead litigation counsel on several major transmission line projects. He has assisted clients in securing approval to construct well over 300 miles of high voltage electric transmission lines in in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. He also counsels utilities concerning land rights and has successfully litigated and obtained eminent domain authority and zoning exemptions on behalf of clients.

Mr. Wright has also been involved in the litigation of a wide-variety of regulatory matters, including rate proceedings, mergers and acquisitions, energy procurement, renewable energy and net metering matters, a variety of consumer complaint cases, regulatory audits and investigations, right-to-know law cases, and other matters before state regulatory agencies and appellate courts. Additionally, he advises clients on new and proposed legislation/regulations and regulatory compliance issues.

Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. Wright served as law clerk to The Honorable Mary Hannah Leavitt, Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania, whose court hears appeals from administrative and civil proceedings.
