We practice compliance…
Post & Schell was one of the first firms to have a full-time Chief Compliance Officer (CCO). Our CCO, Andrew W. Allison, who also serves as Firm General Counsel, oversees myriad functions, including our clients’ professional services expectations; quality assurance and quality improvement programs; legal services and billing practices peer review and auditing program; continuing legal and ethical education program; and state and federal statutes, regulations and judicial authority that govern the day-to-day corporate conduct of our firm.
Our goals are fully aligned with those of our clients...
Clients expect their legal counsel to know and to anticipate their legal needs, as well as their business needs and challenges. Our attorneys know our clients' businesses, and they possess deep experience in the industries they serve. That experience – in courtrooms, boardrooms, and administrative/regulatory hearing rooms – blends with a team approach and a commitment to technology, producing thoughtful resolutions and favorable litigation and transactional results in an efficient manner.
Our corporate structure mirrors that of our clients…
We understand our clients' business models, and we operate our law firm in the same way, fiercely managing overhead, and constantly exploring ways to provide the most effective, and efficient, client service. Matters are managed carefully in close consultation with our clients, and we staff cases efficiently. We routinely audit our own files, and tasks are assigned to the appropriate professional based on collaborative discussions with the client. We treat budgets as living documents, not just estimates. We align our file handling plan with the client’s goals and objectives in mind, and matters are viewed as part of a long-term business relationship, not as "single entities."
